Collective Sighting

In 1971, residents of several towns in the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS) reported a strange, luminous object in the sky—larger than the full moon and ring-shaped, with a dark center. Among the witnesses was Enar Amorim, mother of Rafael Amorim, investigator of the Esquadrão UFO, whose own interest in ufology stemmed from this very sighting.
